On Saturday, 14 August 2010, the open national championship of mountain biking will take place on the newly planned racecourse on which the “LieGames 2011” will be carried out next year.
The course has been finished 14 days ago. It is a nicely constructed circuit with several challenges and a length of about 5 km. Start and finish are next to the “Säga”. The course is well diversified, one has to bear 190 meters of height, get along with changes of rhythm and pass several spectacular downhills – one right before the finish line –all these highlight passages make the race being worth watching and interesting for spectators.
The organization committee and the “LOSV” want to take the opportunity to express their gratitude to the commune of Schellenberg for their fabulous support and to the estate owners for their openness and willingness to accept the race partly going over their land.
