220 young athletes took part in the athletics competition at the Stadium Rheinwiese in Schaan.

The Organizing Committee of the athletics competition at the LieGames made today a very good job. These competitions of young athletes from the near Switzerland and form Liechtenstein have been a test for the OC regarding the LieGames next year.
Claudia Bargetze, a member of the OC-Team, was very pleased about the very good teamwork in the OC. “But also the volunteers made a very good job, we can have full trust in them.” Ruben Saiz, the director of the OC athletics, has been also very satisfied. Nearly everything worked very well, one problem with the time measurement at the beginning could solved very quickly. With these experiences of today the OC-Team Athletics is even more motivated regarding the organisation of the athletics competition of the LieGames and looks forward to them.
