Judo, literally „gentle way“, is a modern Japanese martial art and combat sport. 1964 at the Olympic Games in Tokyo Judo was for the for first time part of the sports disciplines. In Liechtenstein there was founded the Budoverband in 1975; 2007 it was split into two federations, the Judo and the Martial Art federation

Disciplines at the LieGames
At the LieGames 2011 the following weight categories in the individual tournament are scheduled :
 Men  Women
   - 60 kg
  - 66 kg
  - 73 kg
  - 81 kg
  - 90 kg
 - 100 kg
+ 100 kg
 - 48 kg
- 52 kg
- 57 kg
- 63 kg
- 70 kg
- 78 kg
+ 78 kg

In the team tournament there are three athletes from the following weight categories:
Men  Women
   - 66 kg
-  81kg
- 100 kg
 - 52 kg
- 63 kg
- 78 kg

Each country can participate with one athlete per weight category.
In Judo there will be given two bronze medals each.

Schedule
The individual tournament will take place on Tuesday, 31st May, the team tournament on Thursday 2nd June.
