Shooting has already been an Olympic sports discipline in 1896 in Athens. In Liechtenstein the shooting clubs (Schützengesellschaften) are the first registered clubs, which had sports character. On the other hand the Liechtenstein shooting federation wasn’t founded before 1972.

Disciplines at the LieGames
•  Air Rifle
•  Air Pistole
•  Rifle (50m) Prone

Each country can enter a maximum of two athletes for each individual event.

The Air Rifle competitions will be on Tuesday 31st May, the Air Pistole competitions on Wednesday 1st June, the rifle prone competitions on Friday 3rd June.
